During an appearance on KNBR 680, San Francisco Giants’ president Buster Posey and manager Zack Minasian addressed the current signing event with respect to the popular international prospect Roki Sasaki. The Giants president mentioned that they gave their best shot but it did not work out in the favour of the team. Posey stated-
“We put our best foot forward, I don’t think there’s anything else you can do. I know the group feels that way, it wasn’t a last-minute, haphazard, last-ditch effort.”
He further mentioned-
“Zack had been on Roki for a long time, and unfortunately, it didn’t work out,”
Despite coming up with a promotional video based on the San Francisco Giants, it was difficult for them to include Roki Sasaki in the team. While talking about the team’s clip, Posey said-
