Speaking of strong rookie showings, Guerendo didn’t have his best game, but he did continue showing that he deserves snaps in the 49ers’ offense. He ran it just nine times for 34 yards, but he also caught all four of his targets for 65 yards. The ability to affect the passing game should help Guerendo carve out a role even if Christian McCaffrey is fully healthy next season.
