The Detroit Pistons get set for a marquee matchup on Saturday night as part of their stroll through the Western Conference as they get set to take on Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors.
This is shaping up to be an intriguing matchup that many could not have expected to have so much importance as we delve into March.
Currently, the Pistons are one of the hottest teams in the NBA. Following their matchup with the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday night, the team has won two of its last three games, and 10 of its previous 12, pushing them further up the Eastern Conference standings. While there is still some work to do, the Pistons are closing in on ending their long postseason drought.
Detroit is currently sixth in the East, a half-game back of fourth place.
On the other side, Curry and the Warriors are trying to simply get out of a Play-In spot, something the team has found itself in a few times in recent memory. Prior to taking on the Pistons, Golden State will have to finish up its eastern road trip against the Brooklyn Nets on Thursday night.
The Warriors are sixth in the West, a half-game up on the Los Angeles Clipper for seventh.
There are plenty of good seats available for Saturday’s game at the Chase Center in San Francisco. You can find great ticket options at StubHub, SeatGeek and Ticketmaster.
