Who do the Arizona Cardinals get the with the 16th pick in the round?
AZCentral columnist Bob McManaman makes the selection and the Cardinals land Georgia EDGE Mykel Williams.
Despite a busy offseason revamping their defensive front seven, the Cardinals keep adding talent and another pass rusher with an intriguing prospect such as Williams.
With the number of defensive tackles and edge rushers the Cardinals have brought in for pre-draft visits, one can connect the dots that they are zeroing in on defensive players.
Williams has the physical traits, he has some good upside as a pass rusher and is already very good against the run. He takes to coaching well and has played in big games. Additionally, he is only 20 years old.
Even if he isn’t a consistent double-digit sack guy, what if he is like Jedeveon Clowney in terms of defensive impact?
