Major League ballplayers are so good at their jobs. Get to a game early and watch a team take infield practice and you’ll know what I’m talking about, as they basically don’t make mistakes.

So, it’s very shocking when a Major League team makes a calamity of errors that leads to disaster. That’s exactly what happened to the Texas Rangers today, as their blunders led to a walk-off Little League home run for the San Francisco Giants.

The two teams were playing a rubber match of their three-game set at Oracle Park after the two teams split two low-scoring games on Friday and Saturday. They were locked in another low-scoring game on Sunday, and it was 2-2 heading to the bottom of the 9th.

That’s when disaster struck for the Rangers. Take a look.

Pitcher Luke Jackson’s terrible throw on a ball that maybe he should’ve tucked away started the calamity. Then, Jake Burger’s ill-advised throw put the final nail in the coffin. It wasn’t as if the Heliot Ramos’s baserunning was picture perfect, either. He completely stopped coming around 2nd base. It was a total calamity of errors.

Nevertheless, it’s a 30-foot walk-off for the Giants, who improve to 19-10, the second-best record in Major League Baseball behind the Mets.
