The 2025 lineup will feature renowned labels again, with the Embarcadero Plaza, Union Square, and Civic Center Plaza turning into the stages for world-class headliners and the pulsating local scene starting June 14.
According to the San Francisco Recreation and Park Department website, these concerts have pulled in the crowds and worked as a booster for neighborhood businesses, nearly tripling the foot traffic compared with a usual Sunday. The Mayor has been clear about his intentions to revitalize the downtown area, tackling issues ranging from public safety to bureaucratic hassles, and transforming the city center into what one could describe as a “24/7 neighborhood”.
As the San Francisco Recreation and Park Department highlighted, the Mayor’s administration has taken bold steps to stimulate the downtown vibe. These include legislation for new entertainment zones and the expansion of the Vacant to Vibrant program, which ushers in new businesses into previously unused spaces.
