Last season, the 49ers finished 6-11 and did not qualify for the playoffs. On offense, they averaged 22.9 points per game (13th in NFL), and they gave up 25.6 per game (27th in league) on defense.

San Francisco ranked eighth in total defense last season (317.4 yards allowed per game), but it thrived on offense, ranking fourth-best in the NFL with 376.3 total yards per game.SF put up 22.9 points per game offensively last year (13th in NFL), and it surrendered 25.6 points per game (27th) on the other side of the ball.The 49ers clicked on all fronts in the passing game last year, as they ranked fourth-best in passing offense (249.1 passing yards per game) and fifth-best in passing defense (192.8 passing yards allowed per game).San Francisco compiled 127.2 rushing yards per game on offense (12th in the NFL) last season, and it ranked 18th defensively with 124.6 rushing yards allowed per game.The Niners put up a 42.6% third-down conversion rate on offense (ninth in the NFL) last season, and they ranked 24th on the other side of the ball with a 43.1% third-down conversion rate allowed.

49ers 2024 team leaders

Brock Purdy had 20 touchdown passes and 12 interceptions in 15 games last year, completing 65.9% of his throws for 3,864 yards (257.6 per game).On the ground, Purdy scored five touchdowns and accumulated 323 yards.George Kittle had 78 catches for 1,106 yards (73.7 per game) and eight touchdowns in 15 games.In the passing game a season ago, Jauan Jennings scored six TDs, hauling in 77 balls for 975 yards (65.0 per game).In 10 games for the Jaguars, Mac Jones threw for 1,672 yards (167.2 per game), with eight touchdowns and eight interceptions, and a completion percentage of 65.3%.Also, Jones rushed for 92 yards and one TD.On defense last year, Fred Warner helped lead the charge with two interceptions to go with 131 tackles, 5.0 TFL, one sack, and seven passes defended in 17 games.On defense in 2024, Nick Bosa had 52 tackles, 15.0 TFL, nine sacks, and one interception in 13 games played.Deommodore Lenoir collected two interceptions to go with 85 tackles, 2.0 TFL, and nine passes defended in 15 games a season ago.Jason Pinnock delivered 85 tackles, 4.0 TFL, and three sacks through 16 games played with the Giants in 2024.
