The injury stuff has been a problem since training camp for San Francisco, but they’ve responded pretty well all things considered. They’ll definitely miss defensive tackle Javon Hargrave as the season progresses, but their biggest injury problem is running back Christian McCaffrey. They’ve still moved the ball well without the reigning Offensive Player of the Year, but they’re abysmal in the red zone. San Francisco is scoring touchdowns on just 40.9 percent of their red zone trips, which would have ranked 31st in the NFL last season. That’s where McCaffrey’s absence hurts them the most.
