While the 49ers were able to escape Seattle with a win on Thursday night, it came at a cost. Following a strong start to the game, Jordan Mason exited the contest in the second quarter with a shoulder injury.
After leaving the sideline and heading to the locker room, Mason returned to back to the sideline. Following the halftime break, Mason received a carry at the start of the third quarter, but then quickly exited the game again. Mason stayed on the sideline but did not play another snap.
Joining Mason on the sideline was rookie safety Malik Mustapha. After grabbing his first career interception, Mustapha exited the game and was ruled out for the remainder of the game with an ankle injury.
