PPD said officers found the suspected car in the area, a gray Mazda CX5 SUV, and arrested the driver, Darryl Quito Dantes, 33, of San Francisco, without incident.
Pacifica police said they quickly spotted “illegal narcotics paraphernalia in plain view” inside the vehicle. When officers searched the Mazda, they said they discovered another stolen vehicle, a Sondors electric motorcycle, inside the SUV’s cargo section. Investigators said the motorcycle’s owner had no idea it was missing from his Milpitas, CA home.
PPD said Dantes was booked at San Mateo County Jail on charges including possession of stolen vehicle, vehicle theft and possession of illegal drug paraphernalia.
