With the New York Liberty having recently won their first WNBA title, the New York Yankees playing in the World Series, New York City FC competing in the MLS playoffs and the NBA and NFL seasons in full swing, it’s been a busy fall for the professional sports teams in the Empire State.
Monday was the 31st “Sports Equinox,” when each of the “Big Four” professional sports leagues (MLB, NBA, NFL, NHL) had games on the schedule. It was a rough night, however, for the City That Never Sleeps.
