The 49ers are fighting for their playoff lives, sitting in a three-way tie with the Seattle Seahawks and Los Angeles Rams at 5-5 for second place in the NFC West.
The Arizona Cardinals, who face Seattle on Sunday, lead the division at 6-4. San Francisco had won two games in a row before falling 20-17 last week to Seattle, which put a wrench in their run to a division title. Things won’t get any easier on Sunday as they face a tough 7-3 Packers team, led by burgeoning star quarterback Jordan Love.

The Packers are coming off a win last week, taking down the Chicago Bears by the skin of their teeth, blocking a potential game-winning field goal by Chicago as time expired. The win was important for Green Bay as the team had fallen 24-14 to the Detroit Lions the week prior.
49ers quarterback Brock Purdy has been solid this season, throwing for 2,613 yards with a 66.0 percent completion percentage. Unfortunately, he was ruled out on Sunday and San Francisco will turn to backup QB Brandon Allen this week.
Green Bay’s Love, meanwhile, has 2,081 yards on 62.3 percent accuracy, 16 touchdown passes, and 11 interceptions. Both quarterbacks can lead their teams to win but both have been inconsistent with their decision-making.
