The Nintendo Store in San Francisco, which was announced at the end of May last year, finally has an opening date. And we won’t have to wait long to see the second official Nintendo Store in the United States.
A social media post has revealed that Nintendo SAN FRANCISCO will open its doors on May 15. The store will be located in the iconic Union Square, at 331 Powell Street, just a few blocks from Market Street. For now, Nintendo’s account also mentions that “details on reservation requirements and a first look at exclusive products” will be revealed in the coming days.
On May 15th, Nintendo will open the doors to Nintendo SAN FRANCISCO, its second official store in the United States.

A special sweepstakes
To celebrate the opening, Nintendo has announced the Nintendo SAN FRANCISCO Sweepstakes, giving a lucky few the chance to be among the first to visit the store.
A My Nintendo account is required to enter, as each prize draw ticket is “purchased” with 10 My Nintendo Platinum Points. Winners will receive an all-expense-paid trip to the grand opening, along with up to two companions, for a three-night stay. To find out all the details and to participate, you can visit this link.
Waiting for Nintendo Switch 2
The anticipation for the Nintendo Switch 2 continues to grow. We are getting closer and closer to the special Nintendo Direct dedicated to the new console, which will take place on April 2nd.
In addition, a few days after the presentation, Nintendo will host a tour in the United States where some lucky people will be the first to try out the new console.
