SAN FRANCISCO, CA – The US Junior League (USJL), a leading platform for T20 cricket in the USA, is set for an exciting second season in 2025 with an expansion to 12 teams. After a successful inaugural season in 2024, which featured six teams, the league is now opening player registrations for the upcoming season. With six new teams joining the competition, the 2025 season promises to bring even more thrilling action and opportunities for young cricketers.
In addition to the expansion, the USJL has established an Advisory Board to help guide its development. The new members include M.S.K. Prasad, a former international player and chief selector of the Indian National Cricket Team, and Jatin Patel, a Cricket Hall of Famer and prominent figure in cricket development both in the U.S. and internationally.
Prithvi Raj Logan, Founder and President of the USJL, emphasized the significance of the expansion, saying, “With 12 teams in 2025, we are poised to take youth cricket in the U.S. to the next level. Our commitment to nurturing future stars is stronger than ever, and we have exciting plans for high-performance training and USA all-star teams.”
The teams for the 2025 season will include the San Francisco Bay Area Astros, Baltimore Blue Jays, Denver Dynamites, North Carolina Gladiators, United Knight Riders, New York Nightmares, Northwest Renegades, Columbus Royal Falcons, Seattle Seals, Dallas Thunders, and Raiders Unlimited.
